Custom Clutch/Throttle cables? 2 Years, 9 Months ago  
Is there someone on the forum who supplies custom sized steel braided cables? I just got off the phone with my guy and for some stupid reason he can't get Roadstar fittings. I figured I'd as here before I just went online to joe shmoe. I put 16" apes on 3" risers. I came up with 10" over for clutch and brake, and 16" over for throttle/idle.

Clifford is the guy you want to talk to. No guess work, he handles all the ordering and shipping, turned out to be cheaper for me too.

Clifford is a RSC member. I think he gets a deal on cables, he ordered cables and hoses for a couple of us (probably more) installing apes, no guess work, getting a good deal plus he knows what he is doing. if you do a search on the board for "Clifford" you should hit him somewhere...good guy from what I can tell.

max air does cables also not sure who is faster or cheaper just options

I think no matter who you go with they have to build the cables to length, (7 to 10 days not including shipping). I prefer to support "local" guys so I went with a member (and it didn't hurt that his prices seem fair).

barons has cables already meausred out for kong bars need to talk to barons tell them what you got they will send them right out braided

GO WITH CLIFFORD. HE IS A MEMBER HERE ON THE BOARD, AND HE IS AWESOME TO DEAL WITH. SAVED ME A BUNCH OF MONEY AND TOOK OUT ALL GUESS WORK FOR MEASURING THE BRAKE LINES AND CABLES. HE OWNS A SHOP AND IS A DEALER WITH MANY PARTS COMPANIES.
