Also, you might want to consider a real brass tee. Tricky, we love ya man. But, those push in connectors are ok as long as you don't have to pull it apart. I ruined a couple just getting the system the way I wanted it.

We offer the push fittings for an easy install, if you ever ruin a part, call me and get another they're fairly inexpensive. Also remember to cut your hose line with something like a razor - nice and straight. A set of dykes or snips will tend to crimp it, then you won't get that great of a seal...

Rich....

Thanks for the great info. You wouldn't happen to have a wiring diagram handy for how you wired the remote up, would you?

Thanks....greeny

Glad to hear it went OK, N0THD....

So everything fits good under the seat? Does it move around much? I'm thinking about lining the area under the seat with something to keep things from rattling around.

Hoping to get mine on next Saturday.

Regards....greeny

I got my Tricky Air today, and there is just one thing I am disappointed with. You would think with all the engineering and thought you put into this product, that you would have found some way to make it visible... This unit is WAY too nice to hide under the frame!! I can't wait to get going with the install. Sunday will be a break-in ride to Garden of the Gods. WOO HOO!!!

Hey, if anyone runs into a tolerance issue like NOTHD did let me know...
...that's the first one we've had, so if there is a batch of tight tops I'd like to know. I'll pay the shipping to have them remachined. You may be able to massage the collar and save the time also.

Or you can bang it in with a hammer like NOTHD did!

Re:Tricky install questions 2 Years, 9 Months ago
I haven't done the install yet, but the switch is very small and it will hide easily under the tank/seat junction.

One issue has surfaced. As stated, the compressor will fit under the "STOCK" seat, but it won't fit with a Mustang seat. I'm going to have to find someplace else to put it, maybe the saddlebag. I hope there is enough hose included in the kit. Not to worry, I can make anything work if I think about it enough.
