Well my Wife and I got our first deer 08/02/09 9:45 am. Sixty five mph and big doe Woo Hoo. Lights,Light Bar,Turn Light. Wife fractured right leg, broken toes,heavy impact bruse right leg. Me banged right toe, thats it. Kept the bike up and got stopped. Darn deer gets up walks away. Will fix bike Wife will heal doe probably died later maby not. We will ride again. Wife said stupid deer. It's All Good LOL.

Holy shit... Sorry you both and the bike were banged up, but good job on keepin' the bike up. Hope you both heal quickly and you get your Roadie fixed fast and cheap.

I am always VERY alert for deer or other critters on my way to work @ 5:00 a.m. Glad to hear you are on the mend. The bike can be fixed, the body takes a little longer.

Got most of it repaired got turnlights ordered should be in on 20th or 21st. Then it's back to riding again.

TD1600 glade to hear that you both are alright and you and the wife spicily the wife are not going to let that get in the way of riding I don't know if mine would take it that well. Has anyone tried that dear alert?

I havent tried the deer alerts, but maby she was mad at me for shooting her boy friend last time I was Hunting. LOL

Thanks for the concern! We are old and pretty set in our ways. It would take a lot more than a few broken bones and bike parts to stop us from riding.
