Hey next you go hunting Deer try a 30.06 they are a little bit cheaper round for round than a roadstar.J/K glad your and Missus are ok and healing up. I guess it's true if you slow a bullet down to 60 put a headlight and a horn on it you'll never miss. I guess Evel Kenevel ain't got nothin on you if you can keep a bike up after hitting a Deer on a bike.

Glad you kept the shiny side up...Best wishes to your honey. The only critters I've hit were a little dog, broke my hiway peg off, killed it. And a couple of weeks ago I clocked a bluejay with the knuckles of my left hand. Freakin' blue feathers everywhere. Guess I've been luchy so far. (knock wood)

Glad to hear you two are ok. I ride to work at 10PM & home at 6AM & see tons of the stinking things. I think theree should be open season year round and they should allow automatic weapons and no limit.......can anyone tell I think they are a bit over populated?

This might sound dumb, but so far I've NEVER even seen a deer. When I ride after dusk on roads that might have deer, I beep the horn 2 or 3 times every 1/2 mile or so. I believe the deer get spooked by the horn and either don't jump out at you or move away from the sound(s).
