The wife and I and 4 other couples rode down and rode in the mountains for 5 days. The gentleman that has it now is a member of the forum and post from time to time. I live right here and could show you guys all the local roads that you guys from outta town dont even hear about that is 10 times the road of Deals Gap... Thats ok though, I will just keep all these local roads to myself and not share them with anyone Just remember... Too much traffic on it to be crazy. Honestly we found so many roads there that are incredible. The folks who live in that area are blessed with some great riding. And the quality of the roads themselves makes me embarrassed by the roads we have here in the upper Midwest. I loved every minute of it there. I saw a bunch of horror stories on the net about the Dragon and since we did not have proper crash gear I almost didn't do it. I saw so many stories about cruiser minding his own business and gets taken out by fool on rice rocket overriding abilities. It was a weekday, so we took a chance and it was the perfect ride. Maybe I got lucky, but I do hear a weekend there is not so much fun. Everyone seems to agree "The Loop" is the better road, But ya just have to do The Dragon just to say ya did it.
