fairing 2 Years, 9 Months ago
I decided to try the fairing thing and to make a dresser. Now that i see what the hard bags and trunk will cost me i decided im probably going to sell the fairing. But anyway, I picked up the fairing of ebay. I beleive they say its from invictamotorsports.com. Not a bad product. needed some work and came in grey primer, but all in all its a decent product. I ended up laser cutting some stainless steal brackets and press braking them on a break to mount up on the orginal windsheild bracket. I beleive the spacing was .625 inches out on each bracket it. and the holes where 3/4 of a inch rise. For those looking to do the project. I do like the fact that it holds 2 6x9 speakers. Along with the kenwood cd player that has a flash drive option, a jensen marine flip, hiden antenna, and extra black paint i had laying around. I would say the worst part was making the new brackets. This was for a road king so the orginal brackets where about useless to me. Let me know what you think
