...and it's good to have you back Rob. Hope you had a good trip.

I got the collar back yesterday. It's going on soon, but am wanting to get the gauge connected at the time I install. Anyone know if a fitting like this will work? This is way too big I know, but would need a 1/8 HB connection to jam into the hose and whatever size female FPT to screw into the gauge.

Here's another one with a female HB end.

I think something like this may work but want to ask the pros.

Thanks....greeny

Cool, that's what my trusty yardstick told me but thought I'd check with the master for grins.

Got one of those by chance? I'm looking for a 1/4" O.D. push-in mating to a 1/8" Female NPT. Great if you do, no problem if you don't. Found a place online to order but thought I'd check with you first.

Thanks Rob....greeny

I'm going to run by a True-Value later today and see what they have. A little bird told me they might have these fittings.

Thanks....greeny

I've got a 1/4" push in with an 1/8" NPT male threaded end, "straight" fitting. The male end has a "crush ring" for a good seal too...

Re:Tricky install questions 2 Years, 8 Months ago
Don't think that'll work for me Rob. I want to put the fitting right on the back of the gauge. Most gauges I've seen have a male NPT fitting on the back. I'm trying to use as few connections as possible as I don't want any leaks. Do you follow me?

I'll keep you as a backup plan though in case I can't find what I need locally. Gauge or not, my shock is going on this weekend. I'd like to put on the gauge at the same time, but can add that later if need be.

I appreciate ya man....greeny
