... and the link to the thread as some of the pics in that thread were too large (1000 pixels) .. I have fixed them.

As you should know, sig pics are limited to 450 pixels and 50 KB. At the moment, pics within a post are limited to a loose standard of around 600 pixels. My standard is that if I have to scroll horizontally on my 17" monitor (at work

) to view the pic, then the pic is edited. These values arose over the years and is a response to keeping the thread 'readable' for all and the site useable by folks who have dialup.

Your suggestion is a good one .... have a link to an off-site pic ... and I would encourage folks to use this method if they want to show off details on their bikes. Please remember though, you seem to understand and are able to use the pic editing and site coding tools effectivley ... other folks have developed their own websites

; however, there are a large

number of memebers who do not have these skills.
