Balancing Beads 2 Years, 8 Months ago
I'm riding across the border tomorrow to Ogdensburg, NY, to pick up a part. While I'm there I thought I would try to pick up some balancing beads for my rear tire. I've scrounged around this hick town and no one sells them.

Where would be a good Auto place that you guys think may carry the stuff?

Thanks,

Doc

OK ... just hit me ....

The area code is 613 .... my area code is 613 ... the area code for Ogdensburg is 315.

There's a RPM Cycle in Russell ON ... just down the road from me ... their phone number is ............ (wait for it) ..... 613 443 5677.

Mystery solved ..... the US address (with the ON area code) is just a shipping depot.

They are located in ON and use the Odgensburg location to ship out their MC parts ... the opposite of what I do.

They have the Dyna beads and are only 23 miles from my house.

Doc, that scoot looks perfect. Why would you need Dyna beads?

No ... I have 200 Km on my new rear tire.

I need Dyna beads 'cause I put one saddlebag on and the bike is unbalanced.

When I put the new tire on I used 'norma' weights .... I don't like them on a custom rim.

I just mounted a rear tire same size as a normal front on the front, used Dyna Beads in it, 3 oz and it worked perfect. And 3oz worked on my rear also. So, it works. (Also used in my off road vehicle with way oversized tires.

They are small white beads that you put inside the tire and after 35 miles an hour they go to the unbalanced part of the tires and balance out...I've had them for the last 13000 klms on my metzlers are they work....
