They say the output is 35% over stock. I'm waiting for a return email as to the true amp output! Electro Sport is taking a long time! The RM stator with new regulator is $265.00 |

I just got a new stator from Rick's. Got it through Bert's Mega Mall near Pasadena,California 1-626-974-6600

Do you have any tips how to hookup the three black wires out of the stator as there are no instructions as to where each goes.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Follow the wires on the stator that's already there and hook it back up the same way.

I remember checking that RM one out and came to the conclusion that it's 35% over stock for the 1600 charging system, and I think that puts it right there with the 2005+ system's stock numbers.  I was all excited, and then found out that the 2004 (like I have) is the only 1700 that uses the old anemic stator/rectifier system from the 1600s. I thought about getting an upgrade by getting a stator & rectifier for a 2005, but just decided to wait for Electrosport...
