People's complete lack of common sense and their ability to not read things never ceases to amaze me.

Ordered a set of locks for my Venture bags from South Seattle Yamaha, and one would think seeing it's an order for a set they would have made sure the keys matched. I also added a special note on the order specifically requesting a matched set, just in case they couldn't figure it out on their own.

Well...guess what? They arrived today and they're not a matched set. Looks like I'll get to line the local locksmith's pocket a little now as a result.

As it is think I'll just have the locksmith re-key them both to match my ignition key so I'll only have the one key to worry about. Who knows, maybe he'll even be able to make me a spare that works since the local hardware store messed up all 4 blanks I ordered. All 4 would work in either the ignition or gas cap, but none would work in both. What are the odds?

Still waiting on my painter to get the bags sprayed as well, but I'll save that gripe for another day. lol

WTFO? Makes no sense to me. Why on earth would they make mismatched bag-lock sets. I can understand if you bought them one at a time from different people, but buying a set??? I would have them send you matched key lock sets. Guess I got lucky with my matched set locks for my bags.

Any decent lockshop should be able to rekey those for you. (that's what I do for a living)
