Tunes 2 Years, 5 Months ago
finally some tunes to cruise to.... bought one of those sharks 100 watt amps with the fm tuner built in for $90 and after mounting it strangely my attitude changed??? The sound of ROCK & ROLL sure does effect me. Anyhow easy system to hook up only throw back was figuring out just where to put the speakers because they only come with a universal mounting bracket but no other hardware like a p-clamp to mount to the 1 inch handlebars. So I went to a hardware store and bought a couple 1" conduit brackets and reformed them to wrap the bar so that'll work till I get to a swap meet and buy some discounted p-clamps. Dudes if haven't got tunes without earbuds for your favorite music player you really need to check into these radio amp setups. Safety first gotta hear the fool beside you if you know what I mean...

That's funny, the price went way up! Earlier this year they were only $89 plus shipping.

Very good little system. Am running V&H Shortshots and can still hear this radio at 80 mph. Would recommend to any body for the money.

He had put them on just before the May Meet & Greet. He liked them then, we should see if he still does!

I always like to double check on ebay and found the 100 watt system for $87.99 + $12.00 shipping and it says there are 376 kits available. I have already sent an email to the seller asking if he has the 250 watt system, will update here with his reply. Including link to ebay:

First saw the set up during the Leesburg bike fest that a vendor was installing....and how they were seriously raking in the cash. Anyhow I searched and found mine on gooddeals18.com. The lowest system thats only an amp with 2 speakers goes for about $60, you can hook up a mp3, walkman or sirrus tuner to it. It's a great site with hordes of audio equipment with seriously deep discounted deals. Worth the look and the shipping was included in the price and only took two days to the doorstep.

Syn your the man gooddeals18.com just got an order from me, can't wait for them to get here, been using my ipod but that is almost more of a hassle than they are worth it. Now for my question, I am running stock handlebars and before I go and get the wrong ones want to make sure what size p-clamps I need to get, 39-41 mm?? As always thanks in advance.

I got the 100w they have it listed as the new version with the speakers in a cone shape and the remote controls everything including power, radio, everything so can hide the control box and thinking of running the remote up and mouting it under my handlebars on top of the trees, guess will have to figure that out when the kit gets here, will post pics of the install for everyone when I get things going. The listing on Ebay that I mentioned above is the same website that SYN turned us onto when I asked them about the 250w system they told me to check their website versus ebay. Link to the one I ordered:
