Who knows, if you shop around a little, you might be able to do it a little cheaper than 3k. It's not as smooth or as fast as the *. HD's are over rated. There is not much personalization remaining with the HD/SG or the HD/UC at that price. They all look pretty much the same... an HD. Our Road Stars can be whatever you want them to be and at a significant savings. I like my *. Sorry but there are more aftermarket companies out there for H.D. plus there are so many H.D's out there that there are tons of used parts that can be used on a R*. If you weigh the cost of converting vs a new bike there is no comparison. If you decide to convert let me know I will sell you an H.D. highway bar for half of what you posted of $200.00. SORRY This is off topic! Crash369 how in the world do you feel that the R* is smoothier then the harley? I believe you would be happier customizing the star. But Electroglides are nice scoots in my book too. But ya got to start off at 19-25.000.If ya buy it new.If ya buy it used then you still will probably have to go through the engine just for ease of mind.
