Here is a link to my first tank mock ups. Tank is sitting a bit high as the motor mount interferes a bit but its close to how it would sit. I also have comparisons to the stock tank. I tried the new one forward and all the way back to the seat. I have a number of things I will change like the stock fuel pump which is under the side cover will go away. Fuel outlet on new tank I made sure is on the right side, distance from petcock to carb is a couple inches so I can get rid of some plumbing. Notice how much more engine you get to see with the smaller tank.

sweet ride,i was just wondering where you got the air breather.That thing is the cats meow. been looking for something like that to clean up the right side. have a speedstar bak now,but would like to show off more engine .thanks |

That is Mr. Cancilla's air kit : home made bracket, a custom badge of your liking and what appears to be the RA-066V k&N universal filter. I did the same thing, no badge yet though.
