Just got a Bikers Choice (inexpensive but hopefully fairly accurate tach) bike is the pole barn and it's blowing snow and about 18 F. Rather than go out and measure, does any one know what size handle bars stock 2005 R* has. I need a clamp to go around the bars to attach the tach.

Thanks

Stock bars are 1".

I bought my tach from Baron's last summerfor my '08 Road*. It was easy to install and looks and works great.
Web link:http://www.baronscustom.com/catalog/display/501/index.html
Retail is $199.95. Baron's has 25% off until mid-night tonight. Use discount code "bca25".
Good Luck!

Drag Specialties Mini Tach. I have one on my Road* and love it.

I installed mine. Make sure you get the piggyback spade connectors for the coil connections; that way, the mod is easily reversible and you don't have ot cut any wires.

Dakota digital in the fairing from summit racing nice to have. I live 20 min from them but good to deal with. I believe they have cups you could put any tach in. I don't recommend a mechanical unless liquid filled
