I look the them bikes and even at that price i can see an easy $5000 worth of add on's I would want.
javawave is right about the WS and Trunk, I take mine off and the bike feels like it just picked up 50 horse.
A RSTD is a nice bike, Good MPG but the leg room sucks. You can't beat a GW for a tour Machine really. But isn't that a car? A bike can have too much crap on it can't it?

I've had a street glide on my mind for a long time..In Canada a roady silverado is 18400. a glide starts at 24000.
As I'm driving along I remember, To dress it up as I have my star I will have to spend 5-7000 to be happy...So I'm thinking, maybe a set of hard bags and a fairing on the Star.

If anyone is interested, Septembers issue of Rider Magazine road tested the Star Venture, Victory Vision, Kawasaki Voyager and the Harley Ultra. There is some pretty interesting information in there. Here is a link to the article.

The Gold Wing is going to be my next motorcycle. When my wife retires next year, we will get one for the travel we want to do.

I finally sat on one the other day. It's good to know I can get a lowered Ultimate seat for it... I was on tip toes in the showroom... and I am 5'8". We talked to so many on wings as we traveled this summer and I am in love with the looks.. and they are pretty nimble I understand.

Looking forward to having one!

We were on a ride to Lake Ozark and stopped at The Harley shop. Same bike as the cvo ultra came cruising in with an electrical short. Nice looking and I was impressed with the detail. Fella was not interested in talking to a Roadie, so we went inside and looked at the new Soft Tail Convertible. At $25,000 I just shook my head and we went out and happily got on are bikes and went to ice cream parlor.
