Here is the info on where the bike is located. I found it after watching the movie some time ago.

Some lucky guy down there appears to own the original according to Indian.

There are two replica's which were made and are/were on display here.

They did one heck of a job casting for the movie. They could be brothers.

Great reminder. I love that movie! I need to pick it up again, as it's been a year or two. Sounds like there are other interesting resources available, too. Bios and books, Great!

Hi all its been a while for me ,anyway just a bit of triva on the Indian story,When his sister found him dead in the morning , after the formalitys ,she picked up his phone book which opened at page I for Indian, whom she rang and explaned that Burt had died in his sleep, the reply being "thats good",upon realising what he said he apoligised and commented that he thought Burt would have killed himself on his bike and it was better he had passed peacefully, cheers all

Only learned of Burt in the past year myself. The wife gave me the movie on DVD for Christmas (or was it my birthday?). Loved it... would watch it again and again.

Everybody's right, this is a wonderful movie! I only discovered it myself last year on Showtime & want to buy the DVD. It is one of my favorite movies. I've recommended it to friends who are not even into motorcycles & they loved it just due to Burt's determination & character.
