Hi guys & gals. I've been visiting the Road Star Clinic for a few years but never thought to post an intro. Sorry.
I started riding late in life (age 47 in May 2002). Being female, I never worked on any type of vehicle before I started riding. Now I look up "How To" articles & try to figure it out or give the info to BF.
I got my 1st Roadie ('02 Midnight)in Sept 2003 then an '05 Black & White in May 2009. The '02 was mostly trouble free as long as I didn't let the dealership mechanics touch him. I still have the '02 but he's living in the garage with pieces parts removed; he was in an accident.  I can't decide if I want to keep him or sell him. Either way I figure it's the perfect opportunity to learn to work on my bike. I haven't put many miles on the '05. YET!
Oh, I almost forgot to say I'll probably ask some really dumb questions. |

Welcome!! How do you figure 47 is late in life? Remember, "old" is always 20 years more than your present age..

I don't feel old but I don't have decades of experience like alot of the people I ride with.
