After watching the post's here about the Iridium plugs, I broke down and got a set... 6.95 each at advance auto here. Here's what I found,... after 300 miles of riding with them I can feel an increase in power when I roll it on. I also noticed that I dont need to choke it anymore after it sets for only 20 minutes. My average mpg's after the last couple months was 42.6... city, highway, back roads, etc. Since the plug change, I got 47.2 on the first tank and 48.2 on the last fill. And thats with no interstate riding...cant wait to try that.  I'm really impressed. AND... I had my " carb coughing" down to a minimum but it still was enuf to bug me,... blipping on downshifts etc. after 300 miles it hasnt coughed once! I've even tryed to make it do it.  My .02 cents ....thier worth the money if you've been thinking about it. Shoot, they pay for themselves pretty quick just in gas savings. |

THese plugs saved me when I had SVS my first 29K miles, (Leaking intake) I'll never run a bike without them again. No matter what the price! (Don't tell Advanced Auto I said that) Iridium plugs are to plugs what Darkside tires are to tires! MC |

I posted it in a different thread also but to point it out for everyone's benefit here, be sure you ask for the stock number 7803 not the NGK part number, you will find that most part stores will suddenly realise that they do in fact have them.
