It's a beautiful thing ! My neighbor bought the bead blasting unit and powder coating gun from Harbor Freight . He got a house hold oven free from Craigs List. Powder coating is easy to do and VERY inexpensive to boot. I bet I spent about $20 to PC my controls, cases, covers, Genos lowering brackets....the list goes on. This winter I'm doing my handlebars, lower fork tin's, wagon wheel and .....who knows  Also looking for a Yamie Big Bar used and beat up to PC

Here's me & my Roadie getting ready for a 700 mile trip to the Gulf Coast last week-end! No, I didn't wear my work clothes you see here on the trip! Thin slacks & short-sleeve Oxfords will NOT protect against road rash! I took the fuel jug because I'd heard that gas stations are still kind of sparce along the MS coast since Katrina. It's also kind of nice to not have to worry about finding a gas station for about 275 miles!  |
