I have the tiny Yamaha Boulevard windshield and it doesn't do much for bugs except throw them at you! Busts the wind enough to knock the pressure off your chest and that's about it, really all I want though. I would say that 80% were wearing their helmets. Now the ride I was on the week before was 85 bikes and only about 6 Metric bikes, and it was more than the opposite, only about 6 or 7 riders with a helmet on. I wonder why that is? I wore mine because I wanted to listen to the Packer game while running the twisties!
