Avoided a head on this morning, had to leave the road to the right. Fortunately there was no curb. I talked with the woman driving who visibly shakin as was I, She said " I was confused". Thing was she didn't even hit the brakes, swerve, anything. Granted it was dark but damn, I got 3 lights on the front of my bike. What she was looking at, who knows. I was on an USAF base so I took it up with Base Safety. Only problem with the Darwin theory for me was that I was selected. Some might disagree.

There you have it, the problem with the Darwin Theory, sometimes it comes at the cost of those NOT selected, but by those who are.

What is the USAF's position on this issue, do you know? I got out of the USN before this was too much of an issue (retired in 98)

BTW, I'm glad you avoided Ms. Darwin!

Haven't heard back yet. Filled out a base online near miss form and submitted it. They probably had to go to meeting.

One almost got me today backing out of a parking space. I locked up the rear wheel but was able to recover. No phone, no food, no fingernails, she just wasn't looking!

I'm glad Chuck wasn't after me today!
