Can I change just the oil filter? 2 Years, 7 Months ago  
I only have 4000 miles on my last change ( amsoil 20 w 50 ) and will probly not do a lot of mileage between now and spring..So I thought I would just change the filter but wondered how much oil I would lose?

I don't think your filter would be bad yet. I would just leave it until the oil change.

If your still going to be riding some and not storing I'd wait till you change your oil in the spring. That said,if you do deceide to change the filter You'll only loose a couple of ounces,basically what's in the filter.
