K&N filter replacement question 2 Years, 7 Months ago

Hey, Has anyone replaced their air filter with a K&N? Just replaced my stock air filter (have an 08 RS)with a K&N. NOT a BAK, or one with aditional holes, it fits in the stock cover. Any-who, it sounds "different" at idle, and I'm wondering if that's normal. Can't really describe the sound, just that it's louder, like you can hear the air going in. Since it's still the stock cover, with no additional air intake, I didn't think it'd sound different. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
