I really don't want to cut and reweld the neck area, as the bike only has 3400 miles on it. Used to do the neck rake thing on my older Harleys, but that was back in the day I built choppers out of everything I could get my hands on,
Actually, 7-8 months ago I saw a set of Harley adapter trees for Roadstars, but I can't find the info, or the website I saw them on. Seems like they were built by a well known tree supplier, but, I just can't remember who.
Short term/long term memory loss.
I'll keep looking, and if I find the info, I'll post it.

Here is a company that will make a set of Harley adapter trees. It says it at the bottom by the middle picture but they are for the 39mm front ends.
Someone needs to swap over there Yamaha style trees so that I can get them.

http://ardcorechoppers.com/ You may have to call him his name is John. It is bearings with the 1" sleeve in them. if you run a blind tripple tree as I did you have to machine about 1/4th" on the lower tree to clear the R* larger neck bearing, with a wide glide style you just need the bearing kit. I think it was about $90.

I'm told that the R* neck is considerably longer in comparison to an HD setup. But, you can have the R* stem and existing bearing mounted into an HD tree to fit the R* neck properly. I'm betting that is all the adapter kit is, stem and bearings.
Does that sound right?

You know... we're going to be starting R&D on the Metric Air Front end this winter. We were going to supply the kit with 5 degree over Triple Trees like we do our Harley trees. We were planning on providing either Trees to fit our air forks or Trees to fit stock legs. Do you guys think there will be a big market for Harley conversion Trees? It almost seems like to small of a niche to investigate... but who knows.

If you could somehow adapt the trees to work on several bikes, as you did the Tricky Air shock, you might be able to sell enough. Maybe just changing the stem length and somehow making the stops work. If they are specific to the R*, I don't see enough of a market.
By the way, the Tricky Air shock was a great hit at the bike show, and was probably the reason that I won! I rode up, shut off the engine, stepped off and dropped her to the ground. Instantly there was a crowd wanting to see it done again. I wished I had the remote right then.

Tell me something. With the Tricky air ride what does that do to your stock ride height. At full pressure does it raise the height over stock or keep it about the same??
