Short Run, Meet & Greet 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Left from Shelbyville, TN on Saturday afternoon, for Huntsville, AL, for a meet & greet that was happening at Blackwater Hattie's. My riding buddy and I ended up shooting pool all afternoon, and having some beer and whiskey. They had a band show up that didn't suck too badly, and we had a pretty good time. About a hundred people showed up... They raffled off a bunch of stuff. We grabbed a hotel down the road, and then got up, went to breakfast, and hit the road.

As beautiful as Saturday was, Sunday was horrible. It was chilly and it rained on us the entire way home. I got home, hung my leathers up to dry, took a piping hot shower, and then took a much needed nap. I keep hoping for an Indian Summer, but I got drizzled on again, this morning.

Nothing better than a hot shower or a steam bath after a cold wet ride in the rain.

It's probably best that you didn't ride if you were drinking.

Nope. I don't drink and ride. I had some beers and a glass of whiskey early in the evening, and then drank Coke, the rest of the time.

It was fun, but it was just as good to get home again.
