Pint of Water in Tank after Texas Flood Tour 09 2 Years, 7 Months ago
So, a couple of weeks back when it rained 15 inches in Waxahachie in 4 days, on the 2nd (heaviest) day, we departed for the Hill Country for a 3 day. We ran all the way to Hamilton before the rain broke, and had a good run the rest of the weekend (986 miles). Anyway, a week later, I was running home after work, and hit the reserve cough, so I flip over to reserve for the first time since the flood run, and she falls on her face. Long story short, found a pint of water in the tank. Now, it was raining pretty darn hard the first 100 miles or so. The Chapparal Steel plant in Midlothian was just a dark spot on the horizion when we passed it at about 35 MPH.

The only thing I can figure is the water pooled under the meter panel and was sucked in through the vent hole. The cap seal is tight as they come.

Anyone else ever have this problem?
