Okay, with all this talk about wheels, chrome, spokes, etc. I’m getting ideas. Now I love my ’02 Silverado but I look at it and that front wheel looks too dang small, at least it does to me. At any rate, here is my question: how big a tire/wheel/rim can I put in there without modifying the stock front fender? Buchanan's Spoke & Rim, Inc says they can do a custom set of spokes/rims and I got to thinking, what if I could put a larger wheel up front without changing the front fender? Looking at the stock setup on my scoot I’m seeing a lot of space there that might take a larger wheel setup. So if I could find out how big I could go, then I’d send them the front wheel, have them put on a bigger rim and lace up some pretty chrome spokes, sell the old tire (might get enough to cover part of the shipping), buy myself a new front tire, put that hot baby on my scoot, eat beans and rice for a couple of months to amortize the expense and then I might not have to do anything else to my ride for a month or two. Come on lads, toss in your two shillings on this idea.
