use marine grade heat shrink butt connectors too.... I rig ocean-fishing kayaks that have more electronics stuffed on them than a road star can take, and they are a life saver

Re:Kuryakyn turn signals with curved license plate 2 Years, 5 Months ago
I just bought a set of Tsukayu Coner bags and it appears the latches will line up directly behind the stock rear signal lights of my 05...

I've been looking for options to replace them and it seems these Kuryakyn are the only direct replacement available.

I've been looking at some of the photos to get an idea of how far out they extend past the fender... I called their Customer Support and the guy couldn't tell me the width. Can someone tell me the width of the turnsignals or give me an idea of how much shorter they extend past the fender than stock. Thanks! More photos would be greatly appreciated!

the signals are bullet shaped.the lens is 2&1/8in wide.the signals extend 2&3/8in past the fender.so you can see they really hug the fender.you should have no trouble with clearance issues.I`ll try to post a pic but half my pics post, and half don`t.good luck..JYD

I did this mod the same way.... it was easier to pull the fender completely off, than follow Kuryakyn's instructions with the rear wheel. On the wiring... I used the OEM harness down to the light.... and a long pigtail of what Kuryakyn provided... spliced them together, zipped up the excess; wrapped that in rubber an it's stashed behind the leaning license plate. Yeah, it's noticeable IF you're looking for it... but I don't enter my RoadStar in shows... so it's kewl. the whole kit/mod cleans up the rear of the 04 and up Road Stars... and looks great.
