Need Help Please!!! 2 Years, 7 Months ago

I need help on some electronics. I changed my rear turn signals with some LED turn signals. They worked out okay. Signal was a little fast, but I can deal with that. My problem is I liked the rear signals so much compared to the round one, that I also installed them in the front. My problem is when I turn on the turn signals they act like 4 way flashers!!!! WTF!!!!! Anyway I reconnected the original Front turn signals and it worked okay. But when I put the LED ones on the front they continue to act like 4 way flashers. Do I need a load balancer or whaterever you connect when you use LEDs. Help Please!!!!

LED's do not draw the power that a normal light bulb does. You can go to an electronic flasher which will make the signals work properly!

4 way flashers as in like they flash all at the same time. Tried a load equalizer and didn't work, still flashing simultaneously. I found out that since the bike I am working on has a single flasher, and since I switched to all LEDs, they were back feeding thru the turn signal indicator on the speedometer and making them all flash at the same time. I reinstalled the OEM turn signals until I can get a Diode Kit from Kuryakyn that is wired in series with the turn signal indicator and it will straighten it all out. Thanks for your help...

Well I got my diode kit from kuryakyn this weekend. Installed it per instructions and now my LEDs turnsignals work like they are supposed to.

Where did you install the diode kit? Do you need one for each light? I replaced the rear lamp sockets - wired them up, but when I use the turn signals, all four plus the brake light flash like 4-way flashers.
