Does anyone with the plastic type lowers have a pic of them mounted from the side of the bike?

I'd like to know how angled they are and how they sit in relation to the windshield.

Thanks,

Doc

I think you can go to the yamaha website in the build a bike section and see the factory lowers.

My bike is a convertible I also have a dual setup ... takes about 10 minutes to changeover.

Now that it's getting colder in the mornings (40 today) I extend my riding season with a windshield. Always loved the wind in my face but I guess I'm getting too old ...

I've noticed the remaining wind comes under the shield and over the tank so I think lowers will do the trick.

Hey Doc you need a set of my lowers. I smoke while I ride and if an ash falls off it flies up to the back side of the windshield and then up and over the front of it. Mine are home made I will send you pictures of them mounted and there are pictures of them off the bike on my site. Really cheap but look real good.

I think they are 11 long and 4.5 wide. I am going to draw them up and put it in a PDF file with the dimensions so I can put them on my site for you guys. I used Aluminum flat bar and angle 1/8" thick the plexi is also 1/8" thick. There is no viberation and they work better tha OEM ones. Make sure you get up close under the widshield with the top of them. I took mine off this summer and didn't realize how much they kept the wind out of my face even with the windshied on. Needless to say I put them right back on.

Hey Curt, I would like to build a set myself. How do I get to your website, and let me know when you have that pdf file available. Also, have you done some baffle work for HK 3"?, I would like to quiet mine down just a hair and didn't care for the crimb cup mod.
