How does Stock Passenger bolt to Fender? 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Not the most technical question but before I put the passenger seat on and have someone ride on it, wanted to make sure I have all the pieces.

Bought one off ebay a couple months ago as the prior owner onl had the rear fender rack and didn't have the seat anymore.

My question is does it only bolt onto the fender with one bolt(the small metal triangle bracket on the rear of the seat?

I ask because it looks like the front just rests on the fender. Is there a piece I am missing that connect to the front part of the rear fender where the allen bolts from the rack screw in? I understand it prob doesn't need to but for safety reasons would think something would keep it straight.

Called the dealer and all the said was that one triangle piece. I purchased it but it was the same one I had.

The front slides into a bracket that attaches to those holes you are talking about that the fender rack attaches to. You'll need to find one of those brackets.

Thanks. Kinda figured that. When I picked up the part, there was a girl at the desk and she was clueless.

Asked the guy on the phone and tried to make it clear I had the metal triangle piece on the rear of the seat, but he felt the need to order that part up again and tell me this was what I needed.

Will look for that.

Pull the feet off the seat and replace them with suction cups. I use mine that way and it never moves once you stick it down.

Man, I just sent my seat bracket out to another member yesterday (Post office closed so it's going out today) I guess when it rains, it pours?

Others have done the suction cup thing, and I've never heard of anyone having any problems with it, except trying to pull it off after BIG momma sat on it

The only thing that keeps my passenger seat on is suction cups and gravity. It's never moved and inch once it's properly set in place. Short of finding a more curvy tail to rest atop the stick on seat it's the best thing I've ever done to enhance the lines of the R* rear!
