Thanks for the post on the trike forum maybe it will help get some answers to my real questions, but I may test the new spyder cruiser just for the hell of it, might be fun, though I doubt I would ever buy one it's just not a motorcycle as far as I'm concerned, more like a power sled.

Gonna be watching this thread and bookmarking the trike forum. Probably will be in the market for this conversion sooner than I care to admit. At least I won't tip it over (left) turning into a parking spot.

Hey Jim
There is nothing wrong with trikes. And when the day comes and I have trouble picking my bike up off the kickstand or I'm not steady with the handling I will move to one myself. I have riden the one I'm building for my wife around and it's actually fun. It's kinda cool not having to think about dropping it in a tight turn or pulling up to a stop and putting your feet down. My problem is I don't want to ride it too much and then get back on one of my other bikes and forget I'm back on 2 wheels.

Syf. I hope what I posted will do some good over on the other forum. I don't think people read first and stop and think about what they read.
I test rode one of those spyders and I hated it!! Just does not feel like a motorcycle with 2 wheels up front.

Went to biketober fest yesterday only two trike builders there Mysterydesigns and boss hoss. Mystery had some nice products but when all said and done you will spend a lot of money, but it will be nice. I did not like the boss hoss, if I want a V8 and somthing that BIG I will drive my truck.

I went to the spyder tent and sat on the 2010 cruiser, they only had one so no demo rides but the riding position was not comfrotable for me at all it still had the feal of a sport bike my knees were to high and foot controls to far back. I am to old and broken for that, might be fun for a short time but not for a long ride.

Danny

Thanks for all your help and to every one else who posted. I like what mystery designs has to offer at this point. I am going back to Daytona Sat. and will pick their brains some more.

I think I will wait till bike week in March to see if any more trike builders show up before I make any move to convert my bike.

look here too. www.ustrikes.com

I know it may be a minor insult but have you thought about the "traning wheels" style conversion? www.tow-pacinc.com or www.mtcvoyager.com don't mean to insult just offering less expensive options.
