Not very observant of me, I missed the whole Voland Farm thing .. as Homer might say, DOH!!

Hopefully 2 of us me 'Max' and wife 'Grizzly Mary' (Grizzly? It's a good story, ask us.) camping.

Will we be able to leave our tent up and will our gear be secure at 'The Farm' while we go ride?

What will the shirt look like and what colors?

Are all (320?) of those photos you posted from the last M&G?
Just how durn cold is it in May up there?!?!?!?

Who was that with the floorboards angled back, I may have to ask a few questions and maybe avoid some mistakes when I do mine.

Almost all of them were from the M&G. I think Fast Johnie & JJ have floorboards angled. It's not too hard to do.

How cold? It's not snowing if we are lucky Check the weather a couple of days before, you might need an extra layer, or you might be able to wear shorts. We've had snow as late as the end of May middle of June.

I would rather have a little more on than I need and be able to stow it if I don't need it.

Darn, don't go scarin them southern folk , and remember, Stockport is 250-300+ mi south of you. Typically, low-mid 50's at nite, warmer during the days.Has hit 75-80 in mid May. Don't worry about safety at the camp site. Private land, all intruders are shot first, asked why they're tresspassing after. (note} very few answer

I just wanted to see these southerners wearing their parka's in MAY

50's at night, mid 70's in the day????? Sounds like perfect camping weather, a little snuggling with my rider and GTG!

In May It should be warm not to hot.Kinda like it's hot till the sun go's down. It would be really rare to have snow and a good idea to wear gear the roads are nice and some switch backs turns come up quick. You guys and gals are going to want to come back the roads are great. Plus big Musky is a sight to see. Nice job on the site Paul. I would highly recommend coming with good brakes and tires. I know that is a given but you don't want to chance it. I have been pushing a front and was recently down there and it really slowed up some great twisty. IMHO

Please don't take this as critisism or questioning the site selection, but I am curious how you picked that location? Based on local attractions, or some kind of geometric center of where everyone on the forum lives, or what? As I decide if I will make the run from Seattle, I want to make sure I know everything good about the location.

thanks
Kurt

Good question Kurt,& I'll try to answer it. AT the 09 M&G we talked about next years location & decided the western members could ride east & enjoy a 1-2 day ride to get to the M&G. MS1700, MAKCAP, & I rode 800+mi west last year. I loved every minute of it.I rode OVER 2000mi in 6 days. How we chose Stockport OH, I've got a very good friend who owns a 200+acre farm there. He just bought a 01 RS & we ride there every chance we get. AMAZING ROADS!!!!!.I invited Paul(fireman922) to meet us there for a weekend ride. He agreed w/ me that it would be a good location. And so it began. Please understand, outside of the roads/ Big Musky, there really isn't much to do/see. The plan is, everyone arrives Fri.afternoon/eve & rest up for a 80-120 mi ride sat. Lunch half way thru. Sat nite, BBQ at Les's farm. Basicly hang out meet new people, eat. Sun morn, buffet breakfest, say good byes & ride home

It's a local meet ...... there is no 'official' Clinic M&G.

Last year we had two, one in the north east and the other in the south east put on by folks who just want to meet other folks from the Clinic.

Yes Doc, it's very important to remember that this is not a function of the RSC, it's members of the RSC that have organized a get together so we could put face's and bikes to the names of those who we have met here.
