Either way, That's not right. How do you know only the rear is firing? The choke adds fuel (enricher), It doesn't actually "choke". So I really don't think that's your problem. What does she do when you are cranking and cranking and cranking? Moderator Posts: 12515 Re:hard starting 2 Years, 7 Months ago   You could be over choking it with mine if I pull the choke out all the way and start it and leave it in that position it runs really bad. Try starting it and then push the choke half way in and run it there for a while.
