hmm. i would run premium, not regular, 91 Shell gas is what i try to get every time. Never even considered regular.

Regular gas is all the R* needs. Don't waste your money on the high octane fuel. The low compression of the * doesn't need it. I would also change the oil and filter, along with the carb cleaning. Good luck.

Afterthought (I get a lot of those...) While the tank is off during your carb cleaning , go ahead a throw another set of plugs in for good measure.
