By the way , those "upper " lowers look great too , I like the welded bead edge around them and the cut out for the Crash bar . I assume you made them ? if not What are they , and most important .Do they work well !! ?

Yes I made both the "Upper" and "lower" lowers. Work great...Aroung 40 when I left this morning...only thing that was chilly was my hands. Glad you like them

The mirror finish is the type of SS sheet that I used...it comes with that finish already on it. If you wanted to powdercoat you could use a much less expensive SS sheet product. I was fortunate enough to have access to a few scraps that I used. A brushed rougher finish product would bond more agressively to something not so smooth. If I ever make another set I may do just as you suggested. The mirrored stainless is very close to chrome though (except not as hard)...should make cleaning off the bug splatter easier.
