owners manual and service manual 2 Years, 7 Months ago  
Hi, Just bought an 05 Roadstar Silverado 1700 (luv it, big change from my vulcan 900 (06)) and it did not come with an owners manual. Any idea where I can get a copy? I would also like to get a copy of the big service manual. Any suggestions?

all 3, service manual is 2 parts, supplement takes care of the 1700 difference compared to the 1600

Who needs a manual when you can just come here for help! ....Actually I have the service manual, you can buy one new for about $140 I think or I've even seen them on craigslist for around $40. Welcome to the site btw.

I use those, plus the Clymer manual. Great combo.

Also, the Tech Articles section will hold you for hours. The guys are right - great info around here, and LOTS of help.

Got my owners manual on eBay for a few bucks. Got the Clymers shop manual from J&P cycles.
