I bought a 2004 Road Star. I beleive it is a Midight Star Silverado Correct ? ( I hope the photos work). I bought this local in eastern PA in August for $5200.00 I consider it a steal, it had 3,004 miles on it when I bought it, about 4k on it now.



Exhaust- I think the bike is bone stock other than the exhaust that was put on. The owner said no jetting etc. Can anyone identify what type exhaust it is ? Based on poking around the internet, my guess is it is Hard Krome 3 inch ? The ID is actually 2.5 inches. They are massive pipes and very LOUD, too load. Any idea how to calm them down ? Once identified, is there a manufactured solution to quiet them down ?







Any help is appreciated. Looking forward, Ill need to understand how to stop the decel pops. I have not messed with the PMS yet, nor looking into jetting etc. Again, any opinion appreciated.

Ive used the Seafoam in the gas so far, possibly as a preventative measure, but have noticed some vibration. I think some of it may be reading too much here But with that said, Ill also likely spray the carb etc if there is no harm.
