Good gawd, as if I didn't have enough winter mods floating around in my head now I got another one. Great job, Flash. More to polish too.

By the way , those "upper " lowers look great too , I like the welded bead edge around them and the cut out for the Crash bar . I assume you made them ? if not What are they , and most important .Do they work well !! ?

Very nice looking and yes, as stated, something else to add to the 2hour polish.

Yes I made both the "Upper" and "lower" lowers. Work great...Aroung 40 when I left this morning...only thing that was chilly was my hands. Glad you like them

Those are very cool! Just how long does it take to get that mirror finsh and could they be powder coated black?

Re:Homemade Stainless steel mirror finish lowers 2 Years, 7 Months ago
The mirror finish is the type of SS sheet that I used...it comes with that finish already on it. If you wanted to powdercoat you could use a much less expensive SS sheet product. I was fortunate enough to have access to a few scraps that I used. A brushed rougher finish product would bond more agressively to something not so smooth. If I ever make another set I may do just as you suggested. The mirrored stainless is very close to chrome though (except not as hard)...should make cleaning off the bug splatter easier.
