Keep finding suprises 2 Years, 7 Months ago
So I've pulled my carb to switch to the HSR42, found out I never hooked up the tps last time I was in the carb about 3000miles ago Then noticed when I relocated the fuel pump one of the fuel lines got almost completely pinched dunno why it was still running. Then today I decided cause I have everything tore apart I might as well finish porting my manifold. I didn't know what I was doing when I did it about 10,000miles ago then I saw pics.... I pull the manifold and saw this:

Guess I had a little manifold leak...

Go thing you had gasket sealer on that pup. I would go with the over sized O rings like Curt does and solder that port on top after a trim. Man how did you keep that thing going Unless you need to set it up to pass inspections

Funny thing was I took it on a 362 mile ride last Sat and thought it was running good guess these things are very forgiving

BTW there was NO gasket sealer on there thats the melted gasket

Anyone know the size of the O-Ring? Then I can just order one from McMaster Carr.

Holy cow Steven. When you think about it, you lucked out not being stranded somewhere.

I got my oversized O-ring at Napa, took Curt's advise and went w/ 2" X 2 3/16" X 3/32. Part #727-2136.
