My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wife. Tell her she's a real "trooper"!!!!

A few years ago my wife had a fungal infection in here lungs called histoplasmosis - caused by inhaling fumes from bird or bat dung (of all things). No, she didn't do it on purpose; some people have an affinity for the illness. She is fine now, but the doctors said she will always be prone to it now that she's had it.
I think the fresh air in her face while we're riding is probably the best thing for her.
