If you have access to a mig welder you can plug weld a nut to the stripped bolt head and use a wrench to remove it. Just be carful not to mess up the paint

Once you have them off leave them off. Go to pegs like a real motorcycle has!

I have an ample supply of kroil penetrating oil on hand. I will apply a liberal amount of it on the bolt head, nut, insert or what ever I am removing. Let it work itself for at least 12 hours before attempting to work the part. Works itself deep into the mated parts. Combine it with the other suggestions an you will be fine.

I can vouch for Kroil. Best penetrating oil on the market. I have been using it in my aircraft wrenching for 20 years. It works when others do not. I use nothing else for penetrating oil.

Order it online here

Did the same on mine last year. I took a 3/8" drill right to the head of the POS bolt. Drilled in just about a 1/4" in.Pulled out the drill bit and the SOB turned out by hand.............go figure

That's a good point, hammer, and if it gets that bad, a reverse bit may be the ticket..it will dig in and also try to turn the bolt...

FB is right on track. I've always kept a few assorted left hand drill bits to drill the hole for an easy out. Most of the time I never have to use the easy out because the left hand bit will make the bolt come out before I get the hole drilled. I buy 'em at the local machinery supply house.
