I've been thinking of taking off the horn too, just wondering how to support the fender. I would like to stick with the stock fender and I need to be able to ride two up from time to time. I just want to move the seat lower and back some. Let me know if you get the guts to start cutting.

Will do. I'm having the same concerns and issues. So will definitely post to get opinions when the time comes.

I'm partial to this one:

Dont care for the color or the cut up fender but it's close.

Doesn't Harley just support their fenders with side struts? I don't think they have the horn. Look at their Softtail. Just have the struts mounted to the side of the frame under the seat. my $.02

Or maybe use fender stays from a Warrior.

Those are all good options Crazyron. The rear fender on that Orange bike you posted is tight. Looks really good. It clearly not a two up ride, but I can toss that part if I need to. It would just be nice to have.

Trying to avoid the frame mounted fender stays, but at this point its all planning. So that might be the route to getting it done and keeping the two up option.

I posted the big bear chopper link because I think its a tight bike and they did do it two up. It has the frame mounted fender stays.
