BMS Choppers

I have been in love with the black 2003 on this page for a couple of years. Would probably use different exhaust (like Bub Stubbies) and rear fender without the point in the rear. But this is pretty dead on to what I would like to build this time.

These guys build pretty awesome Road Stars. Any body out there dehorned their bike or changed the oil tank top out and moved the battery? Would really like to get an idea of what I would be in for with those two items.

Checkbooks not that fat right now

I really hope it is. I would love to see it in person. Sam knocked it out of the park on this one.

You got to have your own blood sweat and tears in a bike to truly make your own.... IMHO

course it would be a LOT less headaches

With mods, you can go to a 240 for sure. Involves adding a spacer to the front pulley, removing the brake mounting tabs on the swingarm (and fabbing replacements to remount the brake differently), and a few spacing related issues if I recall correctly.

Looks like they got it all the way to a 250 with their mods. I found that in their shop section. They do a swingarm exchange for swingarms they modify.
