New R*, what speed? 2 Years, 3 Months ago
Just moved from a BMW 1200 GSA to a new '09 R* Silverado, TOTALLY different ride! I absolutely love it. I have a couple of questions I hope you guys can help me with.

1) What is minimum speed for 5th gear on level road? At 45 to 50, it seems to be lugging to me. Of course the Beemer was geared totally differently. The Yamaha manual says upshift 4th to 5th at 31 mph!
That's an impossibility! The engine would barely turn over at that speed.

2) When I apply the front brake, the calipers make a loud buzzing sound against the rotors (seems like mainly the right rotor) Is this normal, or should I have the dealer look at it?

Thanx for any help you can provide!
