I love Chattanooga. My son and I rode our bikes from Charlotte, NC over there two summers in a row. Went to Hendersonville, NC and then rode US64 across the mountains to just above Chattanooga. It's a clean, friendly town with plenty to do. great ribs at Sticky fingers downdown and the huge fresh water aquarium is a must see. For those of you that are old enough to remember the "See Rock City" signs painted on barn roofs all over the south, well that's were Rock City is! What are the dates? I will be there. See you there BB.

The dates are July 20-23, 2010.... Chattanooga is about 1.5 hours from the house... we head over there all the time... especially for doing the major shopping... We went to STAR Days in Chattanooga in 2007 and we had a great time... I hope that they have a lot more vendors than they did back then as well... If you come for the riding, you will not be dissapointed... I have an inside on some of the riding that will be going on and it looks to be awesome! We are going to be there, but really was looking forward to PA! But due to some issues with one of the big four, that is impossible at this point and time...

What do you guys think about having a meet and greet at STAR Days? I am willing to do the leg work to find a place for us to have dinner one evening or something like that... let me know what you guys think and if this would even be a possibility...

Tony

just a word of caution, has to do with the reason star days has been moved. if you are riding through Pa near Lancaster county DO NOT WEAR A STAR TOURING VEST! that is all I am going to say about it, not sure how much they want gettting out.

Sounds like fun Tony. I'd be up for something like that, seeing as I am about 1 and a quarter hours away.

I'll be sure to mark my calendar......

Really enjoyed Star Days 2007 in Chattanooga. Met a lot of really nice folks there. Maybe at the 2010 gathering, I'll enter some of the bike games.

Actually, it is a good learning lesson in regards to the 1% crowd... Never lie to them and let them find out you did... especially on more than one occasion... This was one of those occasions where the truth shall set you free... If the members of the STAR Chapter up there would have been upfront and honest when approached by this certain M/C... there would not be any issues... but, because they did watch too much tv shows like "S.O.A." they didnt think along the proper lines... I know a lot more than I should about this subject and I will just leave the rest up to your imagination...
