Thanks for all the input I really appreciate it. I was digging through my old box of M/C stuff and apparantly I bought an extra set of plugs in the past and totally forgot about them. Unfortunately they are the standard DPR7EA-9. Being as cheap as I am I went ahead and stuck them in there. Next time for sure though I will buy some iridiums. Thanks again for all the input! Man these plugs must be 2 or 3 years old. They don't have a shelf life do they?

Someone once told my why Yamaha suggest to change plugs every 8000 miles but for the life of me I can't remember why? does anyone know?

Haha, nice. I've run NGK iridiums in everything I owned. Now of course, my truck doesn't have spark plugs, and my R* is MIA, but once it's back it's on my list.
