Yeah I was pretty stoked to see it. The mod list is a pretty one too. Even if I don't win it, I can use the mod list to work over my bike. I definitely want the braided stainless steel throttle and clutch cables, brake cables, and so on. The big black ones look like crap I think.

Here is how they come up with the "Retail Value" (which is what you would have to pay tax on)... they take every MOD and part at FULL retail price, plus the cost of installing it at FULL service rates and they don't do ANY of the parts together..ie the left mirror and the right mirror are separate charges and so are every single other piece. They have the bike valued at $60K and that's what you would have to pay tax on plus tags, which in Wisconsin goes by the sales price of the vehicle.
Very nice bike, but you might not be able to afford it. It's value will drop to about $15K-$20K by the time you get it home.

Not too bad at $60,000.00 and our bend over with no lube CA sales tax at 8.75% = $5250.00 Pretty good for a brand new fully custom Roadstar. Don't think the bank would have a problem with a loan for that one.

I have personaly seen one of their bikes,they are very nice. I was at the stealer in chiefland fl. and it was parked in the the lot. I met the owner when he came out. Said he never won anything in his Life until he won that. He is very proud of it!!! he won it last year. same bike as the pic!  |
