I don't know squat about trikes but I haven't heard anyone talk about the Goldwing trike. A lady I know who road 2 wheelers for many years, had to get on three for health problems and her Honda trike looks pretty nice and she loves it. I saw a white one Wen. on I485 here in Charlotte and it looked pretty cool.

Forgot! Howie it's great to see you back on the forum and healing up. I know that stuff takes way longer than you wish. Just hang in there and try not to get discouraged by the time and effort it takes to heal up.

Thank you guys, it is really touching that you missed me, really, I mean that!

Most of you don't know me from a rock and yet I know that I have some good friends on here that I just haven't met yet.

I sure miss giving MUSKY a hard time about trivial crap and I hope I can get back into the hang of it.

Thanks for all the well wishes, it really means a lot!

Howie

I've ridden many different kinds of trikes and just can't got over the lack of lean. Feels too fixed for me. undersatnd you may need three wheels which means I'd go to a side car or a Can-Am Spyder but probably side car. Not a lot of them out there and they just look cool!
Either way good luck with the recovery.

I am going to need a trike at some point and have been looking into several kits and may end up doing that, but anyone looking into trikes, how about calling Yamaha customer relations at 800-962-7926 and let them know how much you would be interested in a trike based on the Road Star, it is the best bike in their line to convert.

I have already called and suggested it, the more people that we get to call maybe they will get the hint and put one out, can't hurt.

My best wishes as well, Howie. And, like you, I miss Musky on the forum. I haven't been considering a trike, but I'm getting interested in a side car. Most of the really cool ones seem to be designed for old Brit bikes, but I'll bet there will be one that will really suit the Roadie pretty soon. The thing I like about the side car is that you can return to a bike pretty quickly if you desire. I also have to admit that I would love to experience the feeling of a hard left turn with the side car leaving the ground on the right. But that said, I have never driven either a trike or a side car, so I don't know what to expect.
Get well soon - Woody
